At 5:00 on Saturday, June 1, Landon was baptized at the Beaverton, Oregon Stake Center. It was a great day, with so many family and friends there to celebrate this special occasion with him, including his friends Joey and Rebecca from his Primary class, and his good friends Ellie and Jared. We were so happy for him and his decision to be baptized. There was one other girl baptized the same day. After his baptism, he was confirmed and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, plus a blessing from Shane, where he blessed him, among other things, to serve others, to grow his faith, and to be an example.
We took several different group shots at the church after. I think the kids were pretty burnt out on pictures by the time we were done!

After the baptism, everyone came over to our house for a barbecue, with Landon’s request of hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, broccoli salad, watermelon, and strawberry lemonade. I was grateful for the beautiful weather so we could all enjoy the backyard instead of our small house!
