This summer, we did another summer reading chart for Landon where he earns rewards for each chapter book that he reads. So far, he has earned several activities, including a picnic dinner. My mom and Jake and Stacey and their family came up on Friday so we could all go to Seattle together this weekend, so I thought Friday we could go to the fountains in Wilsonville and have a picnic dinner. We met my family there as we were driving up, and Kelly came with us too for a nice evening of playing in the fountains and having a picnic.
The cherries were a bit hit for dinner, especially with Ethan and Davis!

I love the one on the right of James and Ethan running to the water! (these six pictures by Stacey)
We told the kids they had five more minutes, and when that time was up, the water turned off! I guess the fountains turn off at 8:00, so it worked out perfect. All the kids came over and wrapped up in their towels, but then Kallie and Davis walked back over wrapped up in their towels (picture on far right). Afterward, Landon tied his towel around his neck, and ran around yelling “Super towel!” All of the other kids had to follow, so soon we had five little kids running to the car with their “super towels” around their necks.
Once we got home, all the kids got ready for bed. Kallie and Ethan were sleeping on the floor in Landon and Davis’s room, so Davis and Landon wanted to also. It made for a bit crowded of a room, but they all seemed to sleep in there fine together!
