Dyeing Easter Eggs

Saturday night, we dyed our Easter eggs.  Kelly came over to join us for the Easter egg hunt and then to color the eggs.  I was glad he was there because he kept on eye one James, who was a little excited about the whole process.  He started out dyeing one egg blue, then the next yellow, then finally green.  He wasn’t too good at using the egg holder to pick up and lower the egg, so he just used his hands.  By the time he was done, he looked like the Hulk with his green, green hands! I put him in the bath with a lot of bubbles, and it came off better than I thought.

In the last picture, you can see his green hands, and his mad face because we told him there were no more eggs to dye!

Landon and Davis had a ton of fun too.  Davis especially liked coloring on the eggs with the crayons, and then leaving the egg in the dye for a long time.  Landon liked the white crayon and see how it looked when it came out of the dye.
