Memorial Day Weekend – Part 2

I am finally posting part 2 of our Memorial Day weekend!

DSC_4261 DSC_4259 DSC_4264 Landon has been really into the trampoline the last few times we’ve gone down to Ashland.  This time, he would jump with this ball and try to bounce it off.

DSC_4250 DSC_4258 DSC_4266 Kallie liked to watch Landon jump, and she (and whatever other unlucky soul was out there) go the fun job of ball retriever when Landon succeeded in bouncing it off the trampoline.

Before Memorial Day, Dad got a couple racks of ribs from someone, so Saturday and Sunday Dad, Shane and Jake worked on preparing us some ribs, while Mom prepared the rest (including a yummy strawberry pie!)

DSC_4280 DSC_4270DSC_4289 We were all just cracking up at Jake and Shane.  Jake looked over at Shane and saw him trying to pour some juice and drink it without wiping his hands off so he could keep eating the ribs and was laughing and making fun of him – then five seconds later Jake was doing the same thing!  I’m glad they enjoyed their spoils after all their work on the ribs!  :)

After dinner, we needed to go walk some of it off, so we enjoyed a nice Sunday walk through Lithia Park.

MONDAY:

Monday, the boys headed to Helman School to play some tennis, and we walked over with the kids and played on the playground.  Landon went over first with Shane, Dad, and Jake, so he played a little tennis with the “off” player.

Finally, here' are a few miscellaneous pictures from the weekend that I forgot to put in the right spot.  :)

IMG_4728 IMG_4731 Landon was excited to hold Ethan, and was so cute with him.  Kallie and Davis wanted to get in on the action too and started peeking over the couch at the two of them.

IMG_4733 IMG_7641 Landon picking and and eating some peas, and Landon and Kallie reading books on Sunday.

Looks like fun! Hope you guys enjoy your summer. Maybe we'll actually get a summer soon, (I'm so sick of rain!)
