September was a busy month, with school, lots of house showings, soccer, and lots of work for me. Here are a few of the highlights and some of our day to day activities.
Bennett and Ryan (and Becky) stopped by for an hour on their way down to Ashland. The boys had fun racing cars. James helped me make brownies for Family Home Evening treats, and had fun licking the bowl.
The kids played outside in the cul de sac almost every day after school, drawing all sorts of chalk drawings and riding bikes with their neighbor friends. Davis worked on some more books during his quiet time.
A fun game of soccer after dinner one night. Asher did a good job cheering us on.
It was our ward’s month to clean the church. We followed it up by getting some root beer floats.
Lots of Saturday soccer games!
James’s marker tower, and Davis listening to books during quiet time:
Canning peaches:
My little buddy while I listened to tests for work:
Davis with his buddy Asher, and Asher intently reading a book:
Making applesauce, James’s “jolly” preschool hat, and Davis and James watching Shane down in the crawl space.
