The rest of last weekend was beautiful weather also. On Saturday, Shane took James on a bike ride. He was so excited! He asks Shane almost every time that he rides his bike to work if he can go with him, so he was excited that he finally got to go on a ride.
That afternoon, Davis and I went to Landon’s baseball game. This was the first one I had gone to, since his games started right as Asher was born. The only bad thing was that it was super windy, so the wind kept blowing up the dirt right in our faces. Davis turned to be after one particularly big dust cloud blew in our faces and said, “Mom, I’m going to have to brush my teeth really good after this!” Sure enough, his teeth were covered with dirt. :)
That evening, Shane set up the pool for the boys, and he even carried out several buckets full of hot water for them (see orange bucket below) so that the water wouldn’t be ice cold. The boys had fun playing in the pool and enjoying the warm weather.
My parents arrived late Saturday evening because my dad had a meeting here on Sunday. Since he had several hours of church meetings to attend in the afternoon, he stayed home with Asher while I went to all three hours of church for the first time since Asher was born. It was nice to be there, and to not have to switch off half way through. We are keeping Asher home from church for awhile still to keep him healthy.
Kelly came over for Sunday dinner, and like his older brothers, Asher is already a big fan of Uncle Kelly.
The boys are all still big fans of Asher. They are always asking to give him a kiss and hold him. Asher is still doing well, growing and getting stronger each day. He is breastfeeding for most of his feeds, taking two-thirds to all of his milk from me, and needing just a little bit of breast milk in a bottle after. Hopefully he will get so that he doesn’t need the bottle anymore soon, but we’ll see. His heart is still functioning well, and after our last cardiologist appointment, he told us we don’t need to come in until June. We all love our little Asher! I’ve tried to get some pictures of his smile, but I haven’t had too much luck yet.

Ye, you can tell Asher is looking right at his uncle Kelly with admiration and he doesn't even realize it! You boys sure had fun together in the water, and James - cool helmet!
