Nearly 15! Gosh!

Today, Davis turns two months old. We took him in yesterday for his two-month checkup, where he was weighed, measured, and got shots. He currently weighs 14lbs, 15 oz and is 24 inches long! No wonder my back hurts. :) Landon's new saying these days is "gosh." I hear him saying it when his block tower falls over, or when he drops a piece of his food at the dinner table. I better watch what I say these days, because I'm sure he will repeat it! I notice him trying to be like me and Shane more and more everyday.

For Family Home Evening last night, we had our lesson on prophets, and we told Landon how Noah and Moses were prophets, and in our day we have prophets like Joseph Smith and now President Thomas S. Monson. To teach him about the importance of following the prophet, we played follow the leader. Shane led us first, with Landon following closely behind. Shane walked into the kitchen, kicked an empty milk jug, walked into the living room, and started running around in a circle shaking his hands. Then, it was Landon's turn. Any guesses what he did? When I went next and tried to mix things up a bit, Landon refused to follow me and did what Shane had done the first time!
