For our third and last day at Disneyland, we had done almost all the rides we wanted except for a few in Frontierland (Haunted Mansion, Thunder Mountain, and Pirates of the Carribean). We asked the boys what their top three favorite rides were, and we made a list so that we made sure to go to all of them. The top favorites were: Toy Story Mania, Mater’s Junkyard, Soarin’ over the World, Star Tours, Autotopia, and Buzz Lightyear.
Hanging out by the rope waiting for it to drop. The boys are hungry again already of course, even though they ate a big breakfast an hour before.
First stop: Toy Story Mania. Asher saw the carousel next to it and had to ride that too.
From there, on to Soarin’ over the World. The boys got to ride it twice – once with me and Shane, once with Grandma and Grandpa.
From there, on to Cars Land to ride Mater’s Junkyard again.
Shane got fast passes to Radiator Springs Racers, but none of the boys wanted to ride it except for Asher. We took him over there, and then right as we were getting on, he decided that he didn’t want to do it anymore. He loved it the first day and rode it twice without being scared at all. He was almost crying by the time we started, and he was sad the whole ride. I look like such a bad Mom laughing in this picture while Asher is in such misery!
From there, we left California Adventure and headed back over to Disneyland for the rest of the day.
We started out in Frontier Land, riding on Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. After we went through the moving floor room and were walking to the black chairs in the Haunted Mansion, James was pretty much crying his was so scared and wanted to just leave. We told him we were this far so he had to stick with it, and that it wasn’t really that scary. I told him he could just sit by me, close his eyes, and put his head in my lap until the ride was over. After we sat down and started moving, he kept peeking his eyes open, and after a few minutes said, “Mom, this isn’t scary really at all!” I’m glad that what I had promised him came true!
From there we headed over to Thunder Mountain. We couldn’t convince James and Davis to ride, but Landon rode with Shane and Christie, and then Shane and I rode together. Meanwhile, the kids had a snack, and Asher fed Madeleine some pudding.

Autotopia made everyone’s list of rides to do again. We headed over, this time with Dad and Grandpa to help ride along.
Star Tours was the three older boys’ favorite, so they had to do that one again – again twice!
Asher found a storm trooper while we were waiting for the older boys to do Star Tours. He thought it was pretty cool when the storm trooper beckoned him to come over by him! We ate some dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Frontierland, and the kids shared some chicken nuggets and fries from the Plaza Cafe right across from it. And then we finally made it on Peter Pan at the end of the day. The Buzz Lightyear ride was on their list to ride again too, so we snuck that one in one more time!
Time for one last ride: Autotopia again.
Goodbye Disneyland! You were magical as always!
