A no-school day trip to the zoo with friends:
Two bath buddies:
Found Asher in with Madeleine like this when I got out of the shower, and Madeleine with her buddy Halle, and Asher and Carter hanging out in the backyard.
More neighborhood crew – Landon, James, Luke, and Davis taking a break from their basketball game.
Madeleine and Asher swinging at Snyder park one afternoon.
Asher made some good finds at Goodwill, and Madeleine has learned how to empty the books off the bookcase.
LOTS of May evenings spent like this – watching baseball. This game was at Middleton, and we were watching Davis while eating a picnic dinner.
Happy Mother’s Day! The boys showered me with sweet cards and even homemade stuffed animals. Shane made some cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and we had strawberry shortcake for dessert after dinner that night.
Cousins hanging out playing, Madeleine learns to clap, and three boys hanging out on the beanbag on a Sunday afternoon.
I stopped by Stacey’s for a minute, and these three cute cousin buddies soon appeared in their costumes, and Asher was trying out some cutting for one of our weekly learning activities.
Asher sound asleep for his nap, James with Mr. Bear after his baseball game, and Asher doing another learning activity.
Madeleine likes to use the bathroom knobs for some cool relief of her gums.
Three kiddos all playing blocks together, Madeleine showing off her cute white jeans, and I love Asher’s little legs crossed on top of mine while we read books before bed.
More preschool learning activities:
17th of May celebrations with kjottkaker and rice pudding with raspberry sauce for dessert.
Madeleine likes to stand at the baby gate and shake it, or try to reach through it. If it’s left open, she’s up the stairs in no time at all!
Another preschool activity spelling Asher with rocks, Asher’s new toy he wanted at Home Depot, and every day, I find at least one or more cups sitting on this stool that Asher has left for him to drink throughout the day.
Another preschool activity, and making strawberry jam with Stacey from the 30lb of strawberries we ordered.
James’s Kindergarten field trip to the zoo:
Oops! Madeleine made it to the top of the stairs! And Landon earned his Arrow of Light. He walked across the bridge at his last pack meeting and moved onto to boy scouts. He got to sign his name on the bridge with the names of the other boys who have gone before him.
