Symphony in the Park–July 30

Every summer in Portland, they have free symphonies at different parks on Saturday and Sunday evenings.  We decided to check it out one night, so we got some sandwiches and drove out to Cathedral Park in Portland.  It was a nice evening and a beautiful park, just under the St. Johns Bridge.   It reminded me of going to listen to the band at Lithia Park while eating a picnic dinner every summer while growing up.

We ended up leaving at intermission because James was getting a bit restless and walking all over onto other people’s blankets, but it was a fun night and something we will definitely do again!

Boy, everyone sure was relaxed! I bet it wasn't 95 degrees like it is here! Glad everyone had a good time!
